Information About The Library Today

 

Today, the City Library “Brothers Miladinovci” is the largest library in our country and a true cultural center of Skopje. Founded in 1945, it houses a rich collection of over one million books and publications. Its collections include old and rare books, newspapers, magazines, manuscripts, rare maps, and other significant documents that form part of the cultural heritage. In addition, the library regularly organizes literary meetings, book launches, exhibitions, and educational events, making it a lively place for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and culture.

The library features a reading room that operates 24/7, highly valued by students. It also has a space for exhibitions and book launches, as well as an area for hosting events.
